BRENTON WOOD - CROSS THE BRIDGE / SWEET MOLLY MALONE

BRENTON WOOD - CROSS THE BRIDGE / SWEET MOLLY MALONE - BRENT (DEMO)

1967 release from Brenton Wood, real name Alfred Jessie Smith, he was probably best known for his big hit 'Gimme Little Sign'. Brenton was also a member of 'The Newports', who have a tough to find single on the Kent label.

'Cross The Bridge' plays M-, despite a visible pressing bubble. The equally good flip clicks two thirds of the way through, due to the same flaw. The rest of this side still plays M-. The price has been reduced to reflect this. Both labels have a small round sticker mark. The "Molly" label also has a small X.

Soundclip taken from the actual record.
